0) Definitions
Services / Platform: The Mawaeedy website and related features used to list services and manage bookings.
Provider: A business or individual that lists services and receives bookings through the Platform.
Customer: A user that browses Providers/services and requests or books appointments.
User Content: Any text, images, service names, descriptions, business information, messages, and other content submitted by users.
Provider Content: User Content submitted by Providers (including service names and images).
Booking / Appointment: A reservation request or confirmed time slot created through the Platform.
Pending Booking: A booking that is requested but not yet confirmed (if confirmation is required).
No-Show: A failure to attend an appointment without following the Provider's cancellation/rescheduling rules.
Third-Party Services: External services used for hosting, messaging, analytics, or other platform functions.
1) Acceptance of Terms and Electronic Communications
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
You consent to receive electronic communications related to your account and bookings (including email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messages). These communications may include confirmations, reminders, updates, security notices, and support messages.
2) What Mawaeedy Provides (Platform Role)
Mawaeedy provides software to help Customers discover Providers and request/manage appointments.
Unless explicitly stated, Mawaeedy is not the Provider of the booked services. Providers are solely responsible for:
the legality, quality, safety, and delivery of their services,
their pricing and any payments they request (outside the Platform),
cancellations, rescheduling, and no-show policies,
complying with applicable laws, licensing, and professional requirements.
3) Eligibility and Age Requirement
The Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction) and able to form a binding agreement.
If you are between 13 and 18, you may use the Services only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.
We do not knowingly allow registration for children under 13. If we learn an under-13 account exists, we may delete it and associated data as required by law.
4) Accounts and Security
You must provide accurate account information and keep it updated. You are responsible for all activity under your account and must keep your credentials confidential. Contact promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
5) Provider Obligations (Licenses, Insurance, Accuracy)
If you are a Provider, you represent and warrant that:
Your services and listings are legal in all jurisdictions where you operate and advertise.
You maintain all required licenses, permits, approvals, and insurance (where applicable).
Your Provider Content is accurate, current, and not misleading.
You will act professionally and comply with applicable consumer-protection laws.
Right to Request Proof: We may request reasonable documentation of licenses/permits/insurance. If you fail to provide proof within a reasonable time, we may restrict visibility, suspend features, or suspend/terminate your account.
6) Bookings, Cancellations, and No-Shows
Providers control availability and may require confirmation, in which case a booking may remain a Pending Booking until confirmed.
Providers may define cancellation, rescheduling, and no-show policies. Customers and Providers are responsible for following those policies. Mawaeedy is not responsible for provider cancellations, customer no-shows, or service outcomes.
Disputes ("Good Samaritan" Help): While we are not obligated to mediate disputes, we may, at our sole discretion, attempt to facilitate a resolution or provide booking records where permitted by law.
7) Content Rules (Legal, Polite, Non-Sexual) + Moderation
You may not use the Platform to offer, promote, schedule, or provide:
A) Illegal or harmful services
Any illegal service or transaction
Fraud, scams, deception, violence, exploitation, trafficking, or harm
B) Objectionable or inappropriate content
Sexually explicit/pornographic content
Sexual service names, obscene service names, nudity, or sexually suggestive images
Hate speech, harassment, threats, or discriminatory content
Defamation, privacy violations, or unlawful content
C) Abuse of the Platform
Malware, scraping, hacking attempts, or disruption of the Platform
Unauthorized access or interference with other users' accounts/data
Moderation and Enforcement
We may remove or restrict User Content, hide listings, limit features, suspend accounts, or permanently ban accounts if we believe there is a violation, safety risk, legal risk, or platform abuse.
Appeals
If your content is removed or your account is restricted, you may request review by contacting with:
your account email/identifier,
the content or listing affected,
the reason you believe it complies.
We will review within a reasonable time, but we are not obligated to restore content.
8) User Content Ownership and License to Mawaeedy
You retain ownership of your User Content.
License to Us: By posting User Content, you grant Mawaeedy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content solely as needed to operate, improve, and promote the Services (for example, showing your service listing to Customers).
9) Copyright and Takedown Procedure (with Counter-Notice)
We respect intellectual property rights.
Reporting claimed infringement
Send a notice to with:
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
The URL or sufficient details to locate the allegedly infringing content
Your contact information (name, email, phone)
A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized
A statement that the information is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act
Your electronic or physical signature
We may remove or disable access to the content and notify the affected user.
Counter-notice
If you believe content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice to with:
the removed content details,
your contact info,
a statement under good faith that the removal was mistaken,
and any supporting explanation or documentation.
Repeat infringers
We may terminate accounts of repeat infringers where appropriate.
10) Payments (Not Supported on the Platform - Current) + Future Payments Stub
Current
The Platform does not process payments, refunds, deposits, or chargebacks. Any payments (if any) occur outside the Platform directly between Customers and Providers.
No responsibility for external transactions: Mawaeedy has no insight into, control over, and no liability for any payments, refunds, or financial transactions that occur outside the Platform between Customers and Providers.
Future Payments (if enabled later)
If we introduce payments, we will update these Terms and publish a Payments Policy before enabling payment features. The updated terms/policy will address at minimum:
whether Mawaeedy acts as marketplace, agent, or processor facilitator,
fee disclosure and how fees are calculated,
refund/cancellation rules and chargeback handling,
tax responsibilities (e.g., VAT/GST) and who remits them,
whether funds are held/escrowed and payout timing,
the role of any third-party payment processor and applicable processor terms.
Notice: We will notify registered users via email or prominent platform notice at least 30 days before activating payment features, unless a shorter period is required for legal or security reasons.
11) Privacy and Data Processing
Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy. We aim to process personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
Customers should avoid sharing sensitive personal information unless necessary. Providers are responsible for handling any information they receive in compliance with applicable laws.
12) Platform Intellectual Property
The Platform, software, design, and branding are owned by Mawaeedy and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or resell access except as permitted by law.
13) Disclaimers (Including "We Don't Verify Licenses")
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
No verification of credentials: Mawaeedy does not verify the truth or accuracy of Provider licenses, permits, insurance, or professional certifications. Customers are encouraged to independently verify a Provider's credentials before booking.
We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or outcomes of Provider services.
14) Force Majeure
Mawaeedy is not liable for any delay or failure to perform due to events outside our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, government actions, fires, floods, accidents, strikes, outages, or shortages of labor/materials.
15) Informal Resolution First
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact and allow us 30 days to try to resolve the issue.
16) Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, legal risk, safety risk, or platform abuse, with or without notice. You may stop using the Services at any time.
17) Limitation of Liability (Concrete Cap + Carve-Outs)
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mawaeedy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mawaeedy's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed USD $100 (or local equivalent).
Carve-outs: This limitation does not apply to liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or liabilities that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
18) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Mawaeedy harmless from claims arising from:
your use of the Services,
your User Content/Provider Content,
your services (if you are a Provider),
your violation of law or third-party rights.
19) Governing Law and Venue (Jordan)
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, any dispute arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms shall be brought exclusively before the competent courts of Amman, Jordan.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence, which may allow you to bring claims in a different forum.
20) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on the Platform and update the "Effective Date" above.
If we make material changes, we will provide notice by email to registered users and/or by a prominent notice on the Platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect (unless a shorter period is required for legal or security reasons).
By continuing to use the Services after the updated Terms take effect, you agree to the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services.
